Episode 1: What hath Boris, Natasha and Fearless Leader wrought?
“Power provides psychological compensation: it impels a person who cannot rule himself to rule others.”
Richard Pipes
“We live in age when totalitarian ways of thinking [including racism, homophobia and anti-Semitism] are on the rise, and have again begun to flourish.”
“If we are to combat these trends, we must understand them.”
Presenting Roger Stone’s new series: A Campaign of Prejudices Posing as Ideas.
Stone reveals, ad nauseam, what lies beneath the shallow surface of Fearless Leader.

Interviewer (RNC Chair McDaniel):
So Roger, enlighten us.
What inspires this new series? And why an homage to Rocky & Bullwinkle’s nefarious foil, Fearless Leader?
Prankster Stone:
Well, Rhonda-Not-Romney, as a wee lad, my pals and I adored the Boris & Natasha Show, especially Fearless Leader.
My PTA mom adored the show for its cheeky celebration of American ideals and healthy disdain of totalitarianism. For me and my pals, however, it was a juvenile initiation into the dark arts of political dirty tricks and more.
Pal Little Leninist Bannon delighted in seeing just how close Boris came to blowing everything up.
I imagined ways Boris might have succeeded if only the crafty little Russian had been a bit more deceitful, a lot more murderous.
Our pal Donnie imagined Natasha undressed and resisting, and shared his favorite fantasy of Fearless Leader whipping Bullwinkle and Sherman into unnatural civic submission. Later in life, therapists attributed my penchant for unwholesome threesomes to dreams of dalliances with cunning Natasha and wicked Snidely Whiplash.
Gratefully, we never moderated those destabilizing, youthful passions with the gentle precepts of a republic - political virtue, the rule of law, independent branches of government, free and fair elections. Like Donnie and the Little Leninist, I skated through life unencumbered by even one noble political idea.
I cannot overstate the influence of Boris, Natasha and Fearless Leader. For example, in the middle of college, it dawned on me - of what utility are political ideals when political dirty tricks get the job done? I dropped out of college, became a Watergate apprentice-in-training, and never looked back.
Donnie, deprived in early life of virtuous influences like Rocky and Sherman, reportedly bought his university degree and a 4F draft deferment, then inherited millions and, with a straight face, promptly misrepresented himself to the world as a self-made man. He shrewdly covered his bets, borrowing from Russian banks, evading taxes, stiffing creditors in good times and bad, and donating to both political parties, being purely self-interested and wholly dismissive of the common good.
100% Boris, 200% Snidely Whiplash, that’s our pal Donnie.
And our Little Leninist? While Bannon became a U.S. Navy officer, some people say that bad boy lip-synched his pledge to protect and defend. Devoid of every noble political ideal, he grifts away, an angry little podcasting Russian fanboy. Bannon is Boris!
Bottom line? Bannon is all about Bannon, Donnie about Donnie, and me about me. What we have in common is grifting and caring about our republic, Not-Romney, even less than you do.
Not-Romney: So you guys rely wholly on Divine guidance?
Prankster Stone (choking back laughter):
Oh, yeah, sure. As you known, I’ve declared myself “born again” like a million times.
It dawned on Donnie that being a champion of women’s reproductive rights was decidedly not a road to a GOP presidency and, voila, here’s Donnie, not only born again but a self-proclaimed savior.
Donnie’s conversion took a lot longer, as the evangelical community was initially resistant to giving Donnie a total pass - on tithing, attendance, prayer, repentance, charity, good works, Scripture reading, spiritual reflection and especially on sharing the peace of Christ.
By the way, Not-Romney, the Boss adored your 2023 RNC-branded Advent Calendar, but he’s really pissed that you forgot the chocolate likeness of best bud Putin.
And, heads-up, Bannon has a rush order - a quarter mil 2024 Advent Calendars for his White Christian Nationalist audience at the Iowa Republican Caucuses. Swastika and Fearless Leader images, please, for this very special order.
You want to add an RNC tribute? On an Advent Calendar?
For Christ’s sake, Not-Romney, don’t spoil a holy day like Christmas in Iowa.

Seeking a daily analysis of Fearless Leader’s 2020 Road to Perdition?
What Jack Smith Says
Joyce Vance from Civil Discourse
December 6, 2023
[Excerpts:]
Smith says he will introduce evidence that “in the years since the January 6 attack on the Capitol, the defendant has openly and proudly supported individuals who criminally participated in obstructing the congressional certification that day, including by suggesting that he will pardon them if re-elected, even as he has conceded that he had the ability to influence their actions during the attack.”
The Special Counsel writes that Trump’s support for some of the most violent participants in January 6 will be part of his evidence, including a September 17, 2023, appearance on Meet the Press, where Trump, referring to Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio, now convicted of seditious conspiracy, said, “I want to tell you, he and other people have been treated horribly.” Smith says he’ll also delve into Trump’s criticism of lengthy sentences set for other seditious conspiracy defendants.
Then there’s Trump’s support for the “January 6 Choir,” inmates in the District of Columbia jail, “many of whose criminal history and/or crimes on January 6 were so violent that their pretrial release would pose a danger to the public” and who Trump has staunchly supported. He played their rendition of the Star Spangled Banner at the first rally of his 2024 campaign. Watch here. He has supported the financially according to Smith who also says he refers to them as “hostages.”
Smith feels strongly about this last category of evidence, and he offers a lot of reasons it’s admissible. He says it proves Trump’s motive and intent, that on January 6 he sent his angry group of supporters “to the Capitol to achieve the criminal objective of obstructing the congressional certification.” Smith says it proves the Trump intended to obstruct the certification because he “held, and still holds, enormous influence over his supporters’ actions” and chose not to end the violence on January 6.
But Smith says the most important proof the evidence provides is that Trump’s “embrace of January 6 rioters is evidence of his intent during the charged conspiracies, because it shows that these individuals acted as he directed them to act; indeed, this evidence shows that the rioters’ disruption of the certification proceeding is exactly what the defendant intended on January 6.
And finally, evidence of the defendant’s statements regarding possible pardons for January 6 offenders is admissible to help the jury assess the credibility and motives of trial witnesses, because through such comments, the defendant is publicly signaling that the law does not apply to those who act at his urging regardless of the legality of their actions.
